Peach Cosmo & The Perfect Martini - aka "The Fireworks"

PEACH COSMO (shown on the left)

ingredients:

  • 3 parts vodka
  • 1 part peach liquor
  • 1 part fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 part cranberry juice
  • slice of peach for garnish
  • ice

method: In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, peach liquor, lemon juice, and cranberry juice.  Shake till cold and strain into a chilled martini glass.  Garnish with a slice of fresh peach and enjoy!

THE PERFECT MARTINI (shown on the right)

ingredients:

  • very good quality vodka (we are partial to Imperia Vodka in this house)
  • dry vermouth olives (we prefer jalapeno stuffed olives)
  • ice

method: In a cocktail shaker, add ice, a minuscule amount of vermouth (Michael just likes to look at the bottle), and the vodka.  Shake vigorously till frosty cold and strain into a chilled martini glass.  Garnish with the olive of your choice.  Cheers!
